Neighborhood Alert! One of our officers, Wendy, was contacted by a homeowner about a suspicious man by a bus stop in the neighborhood last Friday. He was driving a light blue Toyota Sienna Mini Van (the homeowner did not get a license plate number).
The gentleman was a white male about 6 feet tall, white hair and had a hat with pom-poms on the top, which struck the homeowner as odd by itself. He acted suspicious and he did realize he was being watched. The man made her son uncomfortable. This was at the entrance bus stop at the corner of Misty Dawn and Tahoma. A police report was filed.
Please be respectful at bus stops. Homeowners in the development with bus stops in front of their homes are complaining about the following: trash, mother and father's blocking driveways in the mornings and also mailboxes in the afternoons, kids and parents not staying on sidewalks, damaging lawns and other landscaping, and loitering.
